Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to check out what we do! I started as an amateur photographer way back when my grandpa gave me my first film camera as a graduation gift, and I kept working on it through my diploma in Visual Communications from Grant MacEwan. I began self-training in digital photography and editing in 2005, when Michael got me the Nikon D70 for Christmas. It’s been an amazing journey. I’ve met such supportive peers, and the greatest people that have become friends and clients, and been able to practice my craft in some pretty awe inspiring places. I can’t wait to see where we go next.
We work out of our home here in the Woodcroft neighbourhood in Edmonton, and there’s 3 awesome little people here that call me mom. I cook, I bake, I garden, I love music and film and being on the road, and I knit very badly.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m a man of wealth and taste… Ah, I joke. But seriously, if Naomi’s like the star of the show, I’m the backstage roadie that helps to keep things running. I handle a lot of the post-production photo editing, on-line dogsbody work, and get to have fun constructing a lot of the unique set designs and builds that we use to give Littlewood Photography shoots a custom look. I spent a lot of years teaching in higher education, have trained in conflict resolution and mediation, and am one of the top five world authorities on the predatory behaviour of Gerris remigis waterstriders (no, really, I am). I’m now thrilled to be able to work with my wife and build our family business. It’s a great job; I get to spend a lot of time with Naomi and our three kids, learn new things constantly, and have some time for leatherwork, archery, and longboarding.
